Is VerriPro a nursing agency?

No. VerriPro is not a care provider or employer. It connects clients with independent Professionals who manage their own services and schedules. You choose and book the nurse yourself.

How do we know a nurse is registered?

Nurses upload their NMC registration with their other documents, and the VerriPro team reviews it before the profile can be booked. You can also confirm anyone’s registration on the NMC’s online register, or check up to 10 PINs at once with the NMC employer confirmation service.

What does a nurse cost through VerriPro?

The nurse’s own hourly rate plus VerriPro’s 13.5% platform fee, plus VAT on the fee where it applies. You see the total in £ before you book.

Do nurses on VerriPro have indemnity cover?

The NMC requires every registered nurse to have an indemnity arrangement that gives appropriate cover for their practice. VerriPro also asks every Professional for professional indemnity insurance before approval.

NMC registration, checked

Every nurse on VerriPro uploads their NMC registration with their ID, right to work, enhanced DBS certificate, qualifications, training, professional indemnity insurance and two references. A member of the VerriPro team reviews them before the profile can be found or booked.

You can confirm registration yourself at any time. The NMC register shows who can practise as a nurse or midwife in the UK, and the employer confirmation service checks up to 10 PINs at once. Nurses revalidate with the NMC every three years.

RGN and RMN

The NMC register records each nurse’s field of practice. Two fields of practice that care homes book for:

Registered General Nurse (RGN): registered in adult nursing, for nursing homes and people with physical health needs.
Registered Nurse Mental Health (RMN): registered in mental health nursing, for dementia and mental health services.

Rates compared with nursing agencies

Each nurse sets their own hourly rate. VerriPro adds a 13.5% platform fee, plus VAT on the fee where it applies, and you see the total in £ before you book. There is no agency charge rate on top: a nurse who sets £30 an hour costs £34.05 an hour through VerriPro, or £34.86 with 20% VAT on the £4.05 fee.
